Gaotian is located in the Yueliang (Moon) Hill scenic area in Gaotian Township, Yangshuo County. The Jinbao River, Yulong River, both branches of the Lijiang River, merge here as the Tianjia River and flow back into the Lijiang River.

It’s not easy to find, in a village called Li Village (历村 Lì Cūn), before you reach Gāotián Town. Minibuses (¥2) run from Yángshuò to Gāotián. Before Gāotián, disembark at Li Village and it’s a five-minute walk to the restaurant.
