60% of sites (N = 5, N is the total number of sites with the detected pairs of pPAHs and derivatives) have a 3N–PHE/PHE ratioof ~10⁻³ (in Pingdingshan, Henan Province and Taiyuan, [and] Lyuliang, Shanxi Province) and the remaining sites have a ratio > 0.3.

The tests were carried out under the real-time operational conditions in the aforementioned residential building in Lyuliang, for a duration between 9:30 am and 16:00 pm for seven days (November 2-4 and 8-11, 2015), during which the weather condition was categorized as clear and sunny. Lyuliang has these dry and sunny weather conditions for the majority of the year.
