Meanings

Origin

According to R. Hennig, a misspelling of Portuguese Ilhas Selvagens, the Savage Islands, similarly to many other names (like St. Luis and Salirosa), although the real islands were probably discovered somewhat after the Satanazes name occurs for the first time, being only hypothetical before it.
