Objective: To investigate the current situation of medicinal plant resources in Yungang District, Datong City, Shanxi Province; To provide basis for the sustainable utilization of medicinal plant resources in this area. Methods: Guided by the technical specifications of the fourth survey of TCM resources in Shanxi Province, the resources of medicinal plants in Yungang District were surveyed and statistically analyzed by combining traditional field investigation with modern technology.[…]Conclusion: There are relatively few kinds of TCM resources in Yungang District, and the planting industry of Chinese materia medica gradually degenerates.

Recently, there have been clusters of COVID-19 cases in China, with high risk of community transmission and outdiffusion. Sporadic cases appeared in Taigu District (Jinzhong City), Xinfu District (Xinzhou City) and Jiancaoping District (Taiyuan City) following Jishan County (Yuncheng City) and Yungang District (Datong City).
