Zhongning

The distribution of the mean annual precipitation in the Yellow River Basin generally decreases from southeast to northwest (Fig 1). It is heaviest in the mountain areas of T’ai Shan and I Shan in Shantung Province, and lightest along the river from Teng-k’ou to Chung-ning above the Ordos.

In Hui restaurants in towns such as Wuchung and Chungning, restaurant workers wearing the white caps of the Hui nationality serve customers. Most government institutions, factories and schools in different parts of the autonomous region have set up dining rooms for the Huis, where their special foods are served.

A resident was given a fright by their housekeeper who was standing outside the 9th floor of a building without safety measures in northwestern China. Video shot in Zhongning County in Ningxia Province on November 29 shows a housekeeper standing outside a flat on the 9th floor to clean the windows.
