Meanings
plural acetoxypalladations
- chemistryA reaction in which an acetoxy group and a palladium atom are attached across a double bond (typically as the first step in another reaction)
Measurements of deuterium kinetic isotope effects suggest that C–H bond breaking is not the rate-limiting step and that the acetoxypalladation of the allene moiety is the first irreversible step.
