Meanings
plural cenomes
- biologyAll the control genes of an organism
- One of the entities that make up a system of cenomics.
Comment: It follows that a cenology (Def. 2bˡᵃ) which has a cenomics will have only a cenomics; i.e. the cenology (Def. 2bˡᵃ) will consist entirely of an unordered set of cenomes (Def. 8a⁵) in opposition to one another.
