Meanings
plural nonconsequences
- uncountableLack of consequence; failure to follow logically.
How can we prove nonconsequence – that something does not follow? Or even that some set of premises are inconsistent with each other – that they are unsatisfiable, and therefore, logically, everything follows?
2004, Jacqueline P. Leighton, Robert J. Sternberg, The Nature of Reasoning, page 156 - countableThat which is not a consequence; something that does not follow.
