Meanings
plural seymouriamorphs
- Any of the order †Seymouriamorpha of extinct limbed vertebrates.
The seymouriamorphs also share with anthracosaurs a palatal structure that, like those of very early tetrapods, is closed—that is to say, it lacks the palatal vacuities of temnospondyls.
