Meanings
plural subcreators
- A created being that also creates.
Humans are created in the image of a God who creates, and humans are therefore created to be subcreators.
2006, Peter J. Leithart, 1 & 2 Kings, page 731 more example
Some subcreators appear as characters within the worlds they create; for example, in Henry Darger's book The Story of the Vivian Girls, Darger appears as a character and his book appears as well and is read by other characters in his world.
