The story
Popularized in mid-2025 on Twitter, partially in reference to the “I'm an Artist From Israel and This Is My Art” meme from 2024. Usage of the term reflects a degradation of Israel's public image in the Western world following the start of the Gaza genocide in 2023. Analyzable as spiritually (“identical (or similar) in vibes to; best understood through the connotations of”) + Israeli, for a given stereotype of Israeli culture or society.
