   Dadeng Island (大嶝岛) In 1988, I was so entranced by my Chinese-English dictionary's 'model English sentences' that I read it cover to cover twice! (Read some of them on page 218). For example, how would you use the word "suppose?" The dictionary suggested, "I suppose she's gone to practice grenade throwing again." What a hot date she'd make!
