  1. A participant in the open-source multi-user dungeon TinyMUD.

What do TinyMUDders think of IRC? Most of them (and I've asked around) think of IRC as stupid, non-creative, and mindless. Which is bull, for the most part. TinyMUDders flee from what they think of as "mere chat systems" and go for the scenery and mood of their MUDs.

Ahem... well, as I mentioned before, this group tends to be overrun by TinyMUDders who can't even remember that there are other types. […] This particular newsgroup, however, evolved out of a TinyMUD mailing list, and is therefore predominantly TinyMUDders. Many of these people consider TinyMUD to be the only MUD worth mentioning.

But this newsgroup was created primarily by the first wave of TinyMUDders... I will grant you this much, though: I can see where logs and other semi-private ramblings can get annoying. They heydays of TinyMUD are gone. This board is no longer our exclusive stomping-ground. Maybe these concepts are just too morose for our old dinosaur minds to handle...

Hey all you TinyMudders. Anyone out there remember Galataeus? that STUD d00d type from UNLV? Yeah, well, as some of you may know (or may not know) he's being held captive by his parents on a military base in England.

The oldest I've met was around 45... I don't rememebr^([sic]) her exact age, though. All in all, I think mudders have ranged from ages 6-60, although most seem to be in the 15-30 range. Of course, this is in terms of RL ages... VR ages (for Tinymudders, at least) are less than three years... Bruce (who just turned two MUD years old this weekend)
